How “Lost City of the Incas” discovered

Machu Picchu is recently discovered in 1911 by Yale historian Hiram Bingham. He said that in his search for the “Lost city of the Incas” which was covered by a thick vegetation. Also, later cleared revealing magnificent archaeological sites on the mountain tops of Peruvain Andes. It was declared as a UNESCO world heritage site  in 1983. And it was also voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the world in an internet poll.
