White water rafting is an adventurous sports activity where Kitulgala in the Western Province of Sri Lanka is best known for. You don’t need a great physique but an average physical activity and high spirits would do. But, under the leadership of a well trained guide rafting on a boat on turbulent white waters is an exhilarating adventure.
Take the necessary precautions
Although, you are a good swimmer, it is always advised to wear compulsory personal flotation device to be safe in case of falling overboard. If you are epilepsy, having any heart disease or uncomfortable with turbulences, it is better not to go for white water rafting, you can enjoy all other activities nearby and all others above 10 years old can enjoy the ride. Then, how about rafting in the night with a headlight and safety gear which is called Black rafting. It’s interesting, isn’t it?
